It can be simple if you think about it.
Thinking and acting in a positive way or manner it seems can be difficult for some people. This was news to me and made me really stop and think about how to tell people how I do it.
Okay, so here is a list of actions that I use to get the job done:
- I self-reflect and identify areas to change.
- I am always open to humor! (This is a must have!!)
- I do my best to follow a healthy lifestyle.
- I surround myself with positive people! (You become who you hang out with…just saying.)
- I practice positive self-talk to myself AND others. (Positive self-talk makes a person feel good about themselves. It can encourage and motivate a person to keep going, look on the “bright side,” and put things into perspective.)
Okay, so it’s not a complete manual, but I’m not even going to tell you that I am a “life-coach” or anything else. I’m just a simple Southern girl that chooses to live in a world of hope and simple things. I practice what I preach, love to learn new things and believe that I will continue to learn new things until the day I die.
