Before someone will buy your product or book your service, they have to know, like and trust you.
The content you post on social media creates know, like and trust between you and your ideal customers.
I have divided the type of content you should post to grow your business into the three categories listed below.
1.) Credibility Content
Credibility content will highlight the professional side of you. It will showcase who you are as a leader, as an expert, as an authority. Credibility content proves that you can be trusted and that you can be taken seriously.
Examples…
Podcast, Radio, TV interview clips, Quotes, thoughts, and perspectives
2.) Connection Content
Connection content will highlight the personal side of you. It will showcase who you are when the work day is over. Connection content demonstrates that you arenʼt all business. There is more about you and more that is important to
you.
Examples…
Photos with your family & friends. What youʼre reading, watching, and using.
3.) Customer Content
Customer content will highlight what you know and how you can help your ideal customer. It isnʼt “look at me” content. Itʼs “look at what I can do for you” content.
Examples…
Customer testimonials, Reviews of Products, Service Pitch or an Ad with the benefits to your customer.
Creating and sharing content on social media is how you can get ideal customers to know, like and trust you.
When you are known, liked and trusted, you will increase the sales of your products. Building on this concept, will allow your products to sell themselves because of the trust that you are building with your ideal customer.
