I, of course, hate getting board, even when driving. I live in a small town outside of Austin, Texas and when I have to go into Austin, San Antonio, or even Houston I like to take a different route home.
I can get to each of these cities in about 40 minutes to an hour and the best way to learn back roads is to take them. Yes, that means taking the long way home sometimes, but life is never boring with me.
I mention this today because I had doctors appointments all day today and it made me remember why I live in the country. I hate traffic!!! People are crazy out on the road.
I made it home without having to get on a major road (yea me) and avoided hours of additional traffic.
