Twilight Zone!
I don’t know if yesterday was Deja-vu or maybe I was stuck in an episode of the “The Twilight Zone“.
The good new is that I survived it and today is looking good.
Yesterday started out like any other normal day and then like Alice, I feel down the rabbit hole into the twilight zone. (Okay so the old show references are a little corny and I’m showing my age, but it is what it is.)
While downloading Faith’s bundle yesterday morning, I took a break to check on my newsletter stats. It showed 100% delivered and absolutely no opens. I send it to myself so I check to see if it was there and nothing!
Hours later after many chats and telephone calls with my email service, they had me send it again. Deja-vu…again nothing. By 8pm, they had turned everything over to their technical teams with promises to fix ASAP. This is when things went wonky. lol
The lights went out due to lighting hitting our transformer, followed by 60 mile per hour winds that knock the pole that said transformer sat on down. We spent the night in darkness while keeping lots and lots of animals calm. (Brad ended up sleeping in the barn.) Oh and we had lots of rain to help keep things muddy. lol
The utility crew just left my place (really muddy) and I have a new pole, a new transformer, the lights on and internet! I also have all my newsletters from yesterday and a promise that everything is fixed. See, life is good.
